On April 7th, the XVIII World Water Congress' (hereinafter referred to as the“Congress”) International Scientific Committee (ISC) held its second online meeting. ISC's Co-Chair Madam Renée Martin-Nagle and Madam Shi Qiuchi chaired the meeting. In addition, the Vice-Chairs of ISC, representatives from the IWRA's Executive Office, and the Congress Secretariat (CS) attended the meeting. 

Shi Qiuchi briefly updated recent work progress from the National Organizing Committee (NOC) and CS to the participants. The meeting discussed and preliminarily determined key timelines for congress activities, including organisation and preparation priorities, clarifying the workflow of ISC tasks. In the next preparation stage, ISC will address proposals for academic activities and ISC timeline updates.
