On July 13th, 2023, the International Scientific Committee (ISC) of the XVIII World Water Congress held its 13th meeting online. ISC Co-Chairs, Renée Martin-Nagle, and Shi Qiuchi, chaired the meeting. ISC members, representatives from IWRA’s Executive Office, and the Congress Secretariat attended the meeting.

All members discussed and exchanged comments and suggestions on the following key issues: VIP invitations for plenary sessions, preparation of the Beijing Declaration, development of the Congress mobile App(H5), progress of invitation letters and Rapporteurs’ training. 

Continuing efforts will focus on updating the latest information and publishing the detailed programme on the Congress website.
