The Embassy of The Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing and Danish Export Association will organize a special session of Danish Water supply, wastewater management, and sponge cities, on the occasion of the visit by the Danish Minister for Environment, Mr. Magnus Heunicke, during the XVIII World Water Congress.

Denmark has strongholds in water technology, and has been a strategic partner in corporation with China for years. Denmark and China signed Memorandum of Understanding on sustainable urban development in 2022 to promote a mutually beneficial and long-term friendly partnership. 

We would like to share our insight and experience on the application of Danish water technology in China, with contribution to the construction of sponge cities. Danish Minister for Environment, Mr. Magnus Heunicke, will open the event, together with Chinese counterparts. Danish and Chinese water experts, and Danish companies will present their experiences, technology and successes in water supply, wastewater management and sponge cities.
