陈永昌,昆明理工大学灵长类转化医学研究院教授、生命科学与技术学院院长,国家杰出青年科学基金项目获得者。他长期从事遗传性神经发育疾病机制与治疗研究,利用基因编辑创建了基因型与表型高度模拟临床患者的Rett综合征、杜氏肌营养不良症等疾病的非人灵长类模型,并在相关疾病机制及治疗研究方面取得突破。在Cell、Cell Stem Cell等杂志发表论文30余篇;成果曾入选中国生命科学十大进展。
Yongchang Chen, professor at the Institute of Translational Primate Medicine, Dean of the School of Life Science and Technology, Kunming University of Science and Technology, winner of the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young People. He has long been engaged in research on the mechanism and treatment of hereditary neurodevelopmental diseases. He has created non-human primate models of Rett syndrome, Duchenne muscular dystrophy and other diseases with highly simulated genotype and phenotype of clinical patients by using gene editing, and has made breakthroughs in the research on the mechanism and treatment of related diseases. He has published more than 30 papers in journals such as Cell and Cell Stem Cell. The achievements have been selected as one of the top ten advances in life science in China.
