School of Life Sciences, Tsinghua University/清华大学生命科学学院
Yi Lin is currently an assistant professor in the School of Life Science, and principal investigator at IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research, Center for Life Science, Tsinghua University. She studies the phase separation of biomacromolecules in several aspects, including the molecular mechanism and their physiological roles in the nervous system, as well as the role of abnormal phase separation in neurodegenerative diseases. The ultimate goal of her research is to develop novel therapeutic approaches through intervening pathological phase transitions.
